New Zealand – Home – 1999

First used in a friendly with Thailand on 16/07/99 and a whole series of other friendlies in the lead up to New Zealand’s appearance at the 1999 Confederations Cup where it was used against Germany (with black shorts) and Brazil. It made further appearances at the Four Nations tournament in Guangzhou, the 2000 Oceania Nations Cup and finally in the Merdeka tournament in August 2000.

First seen in a World Cup Qualifier against the Cook Islands on 08/06/01, it was used throughout the campaign as well as at the 2002 Oceania Nations Cup. Its lasy known appearance a 2002 friendly against Estonia on 12/10/02.
