In 2000 they appointed a new coach, they did not realise at the time that their new coach was just 21 years of age, younger than the majority of the players that he was in charge of. During his short spell in charge they won matches against Antigua and St Martin and the BVI team began to make it&#8217;s way up the rankings. The coach, Andre Villas-Boas left after just a year in charge to take be Jose Morinhos understudy at FC porto. I must have e-mailed the British Virgin Islands at least 6 or 7 times before I got a tip-off from my friend Daniel that he had received a positive reply.
