A very similar design to what The Netherlands wore at the 1994 World Cup, this Malta design was worn in the home match vs Germany.

Palestine

Palestine – Home – 2017

This Palestine shirt was worn by Shadi Shaban in Palestine’s 10-0 win over Bhutan in qualification for the AFC Asian Cup. The previous match between the two sides had finished 2-0, but flight delays and poor organisation by the Palestinian footballing authorities hammered Bhutan’s match preparations. Shadi Shaban plays for Ahli Al-Khaleel in the West Bank Premier League.

Now I can’t find any photos of Shaban playing in the match against Bhutan, but the shirt differs very slightly from the ones worn by the rest of the team, it also doesn’t feature the patches. It does however match the design used in the defeat to Algeria in the Islamic Solidarity games back in May. In those games the number 6 was assigned to Mohanad Fannoun who didn’t get a game.

DR Congo – Home – 2012

Having previously bought a number of shirts from a DR Congo international, Gabriel Zakuani got in contact to let me know that he had this version of the Errea home shirt, with the lighter shade of blue, but the old badge. Unbelievably there are in fact two versions of this particular badge, both of which can be seen in the team photo at the bottom.
